BUTTER STAMP COOKIES

Ann Lauer

1 c. butter
1/2 c. light brown sugar
2 t. white sugar
1 egg
2-1/2 c. flour
1 t. vanilla
Green & red colored sugar granules

Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add egg & vanilla & beat well. Add flour & mix well. Form into balls about 1 inch in diamter. Flatten with a cookie or butter stamp lightly dipped in flour, or use your thumb. Sprinkle colored granular sugar (I mix the two colors together) lightly into depression. Bake at 400 degrees about 14 minutes until lightly browned. Enjoy!
