BEST FUDGE

4 T. margarine
2-1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. evaporated milk
6 oz. marshmallow fluff
1/2 t. salt
12 oz. bag of chocolate chips
1/2 t. vanilla

Combine margarine, sugar, evaporated milk, fluff and salt. Blend over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil. (Don't mistake air bubbles for boiling!) After it comes to a boil, cook for a further 5 minutes (by timer), still stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add chocolate chips and vanilla and stir until blended. Add nuts if desired. Pour into a well-greased 9" square pan. Let cool. Enjoy!
