GINGERBREAD COOKIES

Ann Lauer

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. light molasses
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/8 t. salt
1 t. baking powder
1/2 t. baking soda
1 t. ginger
1-1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. ground cloves
1/2 t. nutmeg
1/4 t. allspice
1/4 t. mace

Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add molasses and egg; beat well. Combine dry ingredients and add gradually to butter mixture. Beat until well blended. Fill cookie press and form cookies on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 - 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Enjoy!
