1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2-1/4 c. flour
1/2 t. baking powder
dash of salt
1 t. almond extract
food coloring if desired

Cream butter, adding sugar gradually. Add unbeaten egg and beat well. Add dry ingredients and extract. Mix well. Fill cookie press and form cookies on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 - 10 minutes or until golden. Enjoy!
